It's a beautiful Friday!
Yay for beautiful Fridays!!! I am eating breakfast right now, then off to an errand or two, then the studio to fire a kiln, then I need to go in town and buy photo supplies, then we’ll see what happens.=)

I'm still here!
Sorry it’s been awhile. Between writing papers and working in the studio, my body just plain wore out and I’ve been resting =)
Spring break is coming up soon and I’m so excited to go home! I can’t believe it’s been two months since I’ve seen any of my friends and family. Wow, I’m having a great time up here though, I must say =)

Snow Day! (Again)
Well, the past two weekends it has snowed. Not near as bad this weekend as it was last weekend, but technically, enough to keep me indoors. Therefore, I have figured I better do some school paperwork. This plan has turned out so well, so far. Nothing is completed, but I have narrowed down my topics and begun writing something down. Not too shabby =) I’m gonna have to book it in the studio...
Life
It is amazing to stop, or be stopped, doing the everyday routine of living, and be struck with the reality of how short life really is. I am hearing updates from a friend about their brother who is having serious life threatening issues. I doubt that yesterday he was thinking, “Tomorrow, I’m going to have a heart attack and need all sorts of emergency help.” Life is so precious....
Yummy new soup!
Last night I made soup in my crockpot that was really good! I put chopped onions and garlic in the crock while I browned some ground meat on the stove. Then I put a can of tomatoe sauce, chopped red pepper, some conchiglie noodles ( you can use whatever noodle really), and the meat when it was drained! The spices were just salt, a lot of pepper, a lot of oregano, and some brown sugar. I also added...

Snow
The other night it snowed a good 10-12”. It is pretty. It is fluffy. It can go away anyyyyy day now =). I’m thankful it’s not ice, but just fluffy snow. It’s a good bit warmer today so it is melting, it will just take a while.

The Game
Well, I think I’ve seen the most students from this school I ever will. They sure know how to come out and support their team! We ended up standing the entire time! I’ve only ever done that in professional football. Needless to say, there was a lot of energy and screaming in there. Frat boys with a letter on their bare chest, fans with the crazy hair costumes, and yes, men in kilts.

My day
Well, today I have worked for about 3 hours in my studio, talked to a friend for a little bit, eaten some mac’cheese, and now I will head out to the local coffee shop and study a little before heading over to the arena to watch our basketball team beat a rival! And that was allllllll in one sentence =) My mom would be so proud. =)
A little ice cream never hurts, right ;)
