So I tried this church today. Not excited about it. The visiting preacher was in some missions administration and assumed that since he was back in America that everyone he was preaching to was saved! He never once considered or offered to mention the possibility that someone HERE was a sinner going to hell! He said Jesus was responsible for us ( or something like that, which didn’t make sense). He never went through the 10 commandments or preached “Repent!” I pray that he knows the Lord, himself.

Even though the message was poor, the Lord answered some prayers of mine regarding meeting new people and enjoying conversations. Immediately after church the guy next to me turned around and struck up conversation, introducing his wife and mom to me also. It was such a pleasant time. We all went out for lunch with a few others as well.

So I’m torn. I will continue developing relationships with these new acquaintances, but still go on the church hunt.

God is sooooo faithful! =)
